Job Summary
Sales Manager role responsible for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities, leading day-to-day activities related to sales, and building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives. Focus on turnover to Event Management and coordination with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated efforts. Develop relationships to expand the customer base, participate in sales calls, generate proposals and contracts, and leverage market trends to maximize location revenue. Deliver exceptional customer service, drive loyalty, and to achieve personal and location revenue goals as part of Marriott International’s equal-opportunity framework.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
- 4-year bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 1 year experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
