Job Summary
Sales Manager at Marriott International on the Gold Coast leads proactive solicitation and handling of sales opportunities, collaborates with off-property channels, builds and strengthens customer relationships to enable future bookings, and manages turnover to Event Management. Responsible for participating in sales calls, coordinating proposals and contracts, and leveraging market knowledge to identify new business and achieve location revenue goals while delivering service excellence and growing share of the account.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 3 years experience in the sales and marketing or related professional area.
