Job Summary
Lead and develop an enterprise sales team focused on marketplace accounts for a high-growth, tech-enabled manufacturing marketplace. Responsible for managing organizational sales by developing business plans, meeting and exceeding goals, coordinating with marketing on lead generation, tracking metrics, and coaching the sales staff to improve performance. Collaborate with sales and operations to optimize processes, drive inbound and outbound strategies, maintain CRM-Salesforce data, forecast revenue, and deliver data-driven insights. Requires recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing development of Account Executives, plus travel as needed and a requirement to work three days per week in the office. The role reports to senior management and offers a base salary plus commission, comprehensive benefits, and a strong emphasis on customer relationships and ROI-focused selling.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in sales, with at least 2+ years of experience in a management or team lead role
- Proven track record with inside sales and new business development
- Experience in planning and implementing aggressive outbound sales strategies
- Knowledge of technical sales and manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to articulate value propositions and ROI to potential customers
- Dedication to providing great customer service and building long-term customer relationships
- Ability to train, develop, grow, and lead a sales team to success
