Job Summary
Sales Manager leads an enterprise marketplace sales team, responsible for supervising and growing the enterprise account team, coordinating with marketing for lead generation, tracking sales goals, and training/developing sales staff. The role requires building and managing a high-performing team, coordinating with Sales & Operations to optimize processes, monitoring productivity, managing CRM (Salesforce), and reporting metrics to senior management. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, 6+ years in sales with 2+ years in a management role, experience in inbound/outbound sales, and the ability to articulate ROI to customers. The position is hybrid (3 days in office) with travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of sales experience with at least 2+ years in a management or team lead role
- Proven track record in inside sales and new business development
- Experience planning and implementing aggressive outbound sales strategies
- Knowledge of technical sales and manufacturing is a plus
- Ability to articulate value propositions and ROI to potential customers
- Dedication to providing great customer service and building long-term customer relationships
- Ability to train, develop, grow, and lead a sales team to success
- Must be able to work 3 days a week in our office and travel as needed
