Job Summary
Sales Manager, Market Retail role responsible for guiding operations for small advertisers to reach customers in local retail trading areas. Develops strategic rollout marketing initiatives, including internal/external client communications and events. Oversees hiring, training, evaluating and supporting staff; builds relationships with networks to expand online media and network promotions regionally; writes presentations and proposals to meet client needs and budgets; collaborates with sales management to develop pitches and sales presentations that support product value; provides monthly/quarterly marketing reports. Requires independent judgment, ability to work nights/weekends, and overtime as needed. Emphasizes operating principles, customer experience, teamwork, and leveraging Comcast’s digital tools and ad-tech to drive growth; aligns with company values and inclusion. Location-based duties include California (Walnut Creek) with in-person collaboration; role emphasizes delivering impactful advertising solutions across multiple screens and channels.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years experience in sales/advertising leadership
- Proven ability to manage teams
- Strong presentation and proposal-writing skills
- Ability to develop marketing strategies and client communications
