Job Summary
Develop and implement the sales/service business plan for the assigned area, realizing commercial objectives while managing profit and loss through forecasting and margin tracking. Lead the selling process by identifying customers, managing sales channels, and training field representatives on solution-selling skills to achieve profit margins. Act as a liaison between the company and representatives, facilitating business processes, resolving problems, and assisting in delivering full sales service packages to dealers and end-users. Exercise independent judgment on critical matters, achieve sales goals, and maintain DSO control. This role involves supervisory responsibility and extensive travel within a plant/warehouse environment where you may lift up to 50 pounds daily and face risks including electrical shock and exposure to lead or fiberglass.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- 5-7 years of extensive and successful sales experience or combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
- Superb written and oral communication skills
- The ability to understand and explain technical electrical systems and material handling
- Basic math ability; proficient in Microsoft applications
- Able to write reports, interpret general business periodicals, manuals, and journals
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds/23 kilos on a daily continuous basis
- Must be able to frequently bend; twist; reach; stoop; kneel or crouch
- Must be able to differentiate colors
- Periodic blood tests are required to measure the level of lead
- This position is exposed to harmful materials such as lead/fiberglass products
