Job Summary
Hunter role Sales Manager responsible for driving growth in nutraceutical contract manufacturing. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop strategies to expand the client base, prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals, and lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms while ensuring client satisfaction. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract closure, maintain and analyze the sales pipeline, set quarterly and annual targets, and collaborate with product development, project management, and production teams. Provide market insights and regular reporting on sales performance and trends to senior leadership. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of ODM products and capabilities and travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, Sales or other related field
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in a B2B, CMO, and/or CDMO environment.
- Experience in the Nutraceutical, Vitamin, Supplement, or functional food/Bev space
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities (written and verbal)
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client and partner relationships
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office/Google Suite; experience with reporting and forecasting tools
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
