Job Summary
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team of licensed insurance agents within NerdWallet Insurance Experts. Oversee onboarding, performance management, and operational excellence to improve conversion, premium production, and customer outcomes. Collaborate with Product, Operations, and Leadership to optimize lead distribution, tooling, and processes; hire and train agents across multiple locations; monitor KPIs, leverage dashboards and reporting tools, and drive data-informed improvements to sales workflows in a hybrid in-office/remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (or ability to obtain quickly)
- 3–5 years of experience managing and coaching sales professionals
- 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance experience, with agency experience strongly preferred
- Experience with dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to manage team performance
- Experience with CRM systems, comparative raters, agency management systems (AMS), and other insurance technology platforms
- Strong communication and coaching skills with the ability to provide clear, actionable feedback
