Sales Manager (Industrial Refrigeration)

Job Summary
Sales Manager – Industrial Refrigeration to oversee all sales activities at Startec Refrigeration Services in Calgary, AB. Lead and mentor the sales staff, develop and execute sales plans to achieve annual targets, recruit/train/retain client relationships, collaborate with industry partners and marketing on collateral, represent the company at trade shows, manage pricing and RFQ activity, and contribute to strategic planning and market expansion. Emphasis on developing and maintaining client accounts, driving sales growth, and leading a high-performing sales team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, or other technical training or significant relevant technical experience
- Minimum 5 years of direct selling and account management experience
- Ideally a combination of technical and sales experience in Ammonia Refrigeration/HVAC or Natural Gas Processing
- Demonstrated ability to lead and direct sales forces
- Experience in closing major transactions
- Ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, other stakeholders
- Experience selling multiple product/service lines and in creating and managing budgets
- Strong experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, channel management, account development, and business planning
- Understanding financial reports including budgetary guidelines and project expenditures
