Job Summary
Sales Manager leads and trains the Sales team to achieve measurable performance goals and guest satisfaction objectives, including coaching, holding the team accountable, and supporting the company vision and mission. Responsibilities include setting performance targets with the GSM, resolving guest concerns, maximizing finance and insurance penetration and gross profits, merchandising displays for vehicle sales, overseeing inventory and aging, managing receivables, recruiting and training staff, supervising daily workflows and evaluating staff performance, and ensuring adherence to company standards. The role requires strong leadership, communication, customer service, organizational, time-management, and analytical skills, with experience guiding a team in a fast-paced automotive retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years related experience required
- Exceptional leadership skills with a minimum 2 years of leadership experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and customer handling skills
- Excellent sales and customer service skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
