Job Summary
Regional Sales Manager for the Ohio Valley region (OH, MI, IN, KY, WV) responsible for growing a defined territory across manufacturers and distributors, developing new business opportunities, building long-term customer relationships, identifying customer needs and providing tailored solutions, managing existing accounts to expand market share, traveling regularly to meet clients and drive sales, maintaining understanding of product applications from concept through production, and operating with a remote/home-based setup while traveling throughout the territory.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3–5 years of industrial sales experience or strong desire to transition from technical/engineering role into sales
- Working knowledge of manufacturing or mechanical operations with practical aptitude
- Proven ability to build relationships and drive business growth
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to travel frequently and manage a home-based office
- Must reside within the Ohio Valley region
- Proficiency with standard computer applications
