Job Summary
Solicit and secure business through a proactive, consultative sales approach using Encore's methodology. Prepare and present quotes and proposals to customers, including those submitted through the venue booking system. Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service events while understanding cost structures to meet profitability guidelines. Cultivate relationships with customers, venue personnel, and supporting functions by researching customer history and attending meetings. Maintain a healthy pipeline in the CRM, ensuring all opportunities are accurate and up to date. Support sales forecasting efforts and adopt new SOPs and product offerings. Work in a hotel/convention center environment with irregular hours, on-call status including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- BS/BA or 1+ years of Encore or equivalent experience
- Technical aptitude and computer proficiency
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be able to meet physical demands including sitting 4-5 hours per day
- Must be able to meet physical demands including standing 2-3 hours per day
- Must be able to meet physical demands including walking 2-3 hours per day
- Must be able to meet physical demands including stooping 0-1 hour per day

Desired Qualifications
- 1 year technology sales or hospitality experience
- Prior sales experience in audiovisual
- Knowledge of hospitality industry and sales processes
