Sales Manager for Automotive Dealership

Job Summary
Directs the sales activities of the dealership by performing duties personally or through subordinate supervisors, including hiring/training/motivating/counseling sales staff, setting annual and monthly sales/expense/operating profit objectives, managing inventory and factory-sponsored programs, merchandising vehicles, analyzing market data to tailor campaigns, liaising between sales and other departments, monitoring expenditures to meet budgets, and scheduling New Owner Clinics. Requires proven sales-management experience, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to drive culture and accountability in a multi-department environment. Work location is in-person in Gilroy, CA.
Required Qualifications
- Two + years related experience as a Sales Manager
- Demonstrated success leading multi-department teams
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to drive culture, accountability, and employee engagement
- Hands-on approach with a results-oriented mindset
