Job Summary
Sales Manager for the Americas region responsible for customer acquisition and support, coordinating with U.S. and German plants, leading commercial contract negotiations, and driving strategic growth. Role involves developing new products, leading market and competitive analyses, preparing calculations and quotations, coordinating technical and commercial product changes, acting as main commercial contact for customers and internal stakeholders, representing the company at industry events, and traveling domestically and internationally. Requires an engineering degree or technical background, several years of automotive/manufacturing sales experience, knowledge of tooling and manufacturing technologies, strong communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in English with cross-functional collaboration across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- Completed engineering degree or comparable technical background (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred)
- Several years of professional experience in sales within the automotive or manufacturing industry
- Strong understanding of press technology, deep drawing, forming, joining processes, coating, and related manufacturing technologies
- Knowledge of automotive industry development cycles and terminology
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, evaluate manufacturability, and explain deviations to customers
- Strong contract and commercial knowledge
- Professional-level English (additional languages a plus)
