Job Summary
Experienced Sales Manager sought for Embassy Suites Orlando Lake Buena Vista South. Responsibilities include organizing telemarketing, outside sales calls, site visits, entertaining clients, developing and soliciting new leads, presenting and preparing proposals and contracts; developing target lists and action plans for account solicitation; participating in related trade/civic functions; providing client event service; utilizing Salesforce to log activities and mine opportunities; leveraging market intelligence to uncover opportunities; achieving quarterly/annual booking goals; compiling weekly productivity reports; traveling as required; and performing other duties. Requires strong communication, time management, and analytical skills; proficiency with Salesforce, Cvent, Meeting Broker, and Microsoft Office; ability to travel; and a Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred.
Desired Qualifications
- Four years of experience in Hospitality Sales
- Two years in Hotel Sales Manager role in a comparable hotel/role
- Local market experience preferred
- Proficient use of Salesforce, Cvent, Meeting Broker, and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor’s degree and/or Hotel Management degree preferred
- Ability to travel throughout designated markets in a timely manner
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written
- Self-motivated and proactive sales approach
- Strong time management skills
- Analytical ability to decipher data and make sound decisions
