Job Summary

Sales Manager role at a mattress/furniture retailer in North America. Responsible for supporting the Store Manager in day-to-day store operations, overseeing sales KPIs (volume, margin, closing ratio, sales per guest, bedding and protection), handling customer issues in the manager’s absence, coaching sales staff to build individual and team success, managing staffing and budgeting-related tasks, documenting procedures, generating reports, coordinating daily/weekly huddles, collaborating with the Visual Presentation Manager on product placement, and communicating policy changes to staff. Requires high school diploma with preference for a bachelor's degree in business; 2-4 years of furniture retail management in a commission-based sales environment and supervisory experience; proficient in Microsoft Office; strong communication and team-building skills; ability to work weekends/evenings/holidays/travel as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma (bachelor's degree in business preferred).
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in furniture retail management in a commission-based sales environment.
  • Previous supervisory experience is a must.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
