Job Summary
Generate business leads internally and externally, secure new business, and develop strong relationships with current and prospective clients through face-to-face visits. Build and manage the sales team, monitor fulfillment of sales activities, KPIs, and performance targets. Prepare and execute the annual business plan, sales budget, and market promotions for the San Francisco Station. Create proposals and presentations for potential clients while managing customer risk, credit applications, and accounts receivable collection. Conduct cold and warm calls, sales visits, and new account pursuits weekly to meet strict activity requirements. Travel more than 50% of working time within the Branch territory to customer field offices.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to travel within Branch territory (more than 50% of working time)
- Local and familiar with the local Territory
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in B to B Service Sales, or Customer Service in the International Logistics field is preferred
- College degree is a plus, but not required
- Key candidates will be performance driven, self-starters, with a high interest in freight forwarding and international logistics
- Team player / problem solver, resourceful in creating solutions for customers
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
