Job Summary
Implement sales plans and supervise sales staff by providing service and customer support during field visits. Determine annual unit and gross-profit plans through marketing strategy implementation and trend analysis. Establish sales objectives by forecasting quotas for regions, projecting volume and profit for existing and new products. Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling prices by monitoring supply, demand, economic indicators, and competitors. Recruit, select, orient, and train employees while counseling, disciplining, and appraising job results. Complete national sales operational requirements by scheduling staff and following up on work results. Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and professional societies. Travel domestically up to 20% and work regular business hours with some additional time required.
