Sales Manager - Data Platforms

Job Summary
Manage and enhance relations with existing Healthcare Data Platform customers while discovering, qualifying, and developing new sales opportunities in the UK healthcare market. Articulate solutions to senior stakeholders and collaborate with the UK Bid team to provide timely proposals. Partner with Marketing teams to execute prospecting strategies, leverage existing customers as reference sites, and work with InterSystems partner organizations to support end-user requirements. Maintain awareness of industry sector and technological advances, including AI-enabled solutions, while resolving technical or contractual issues. This role requires flexibility for regular national travel and involves engaging at C level across NHS trusts and ICSs.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years software solutions sales to the UK National Health Service
- good understanding of data challenges, interoperability and standards within the NHS
- Experience using AI tools and data-driven insights to improve sales efficiency, pipeline management, forecasting accuracy, and overall sales outcomes
- Proven ability to engage at C level
- proven sales success
- Ability to develop and leverage existing relationships with relevant stakeholders in NHS trusts, ICSs, Health Boards
- Experience of data and integration software applications to healthcare end users
- A strong team player
- Strong presentation skills
- ability to tailor the content and depth to suit a technical, business or clinical audience
- A genuine interest and technical curiosity for software in the healthcare sector
- Degree qualified or equivalent
