Job Summary
Sales Manager leads and coaches a dealership sales team to drive revenue growth and create exceptional customer experiences. The role partners with General Manager, marketing, and local community to forecast sales, set budgets, manage hiring and retention, and align internal resources to achieve goals. Responsibilities include coaching reps on sales presentations and handling objections, conducting ride-alongs to reinforce product knowledge, building lasting customer relationships, representing the dealership at local events, maintaining CRM data, and ensuring safety and compliance. Requires a valid driver's license, 3+ years of sales experience with leadership experience, strong communication and analytical skills, and proficiency with CRM platforms. The position involves both dealership presence and regular travel within the assigned territory and may include flexible hours.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions or limitations
- Must pass/maintain an acceptable driving record
- 3+ years of prior sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role preferred
- Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and trend information
- Proficient in using a CRM platform
- Must remain physically capable, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the duties required of this position
- Must be able to successfully pass criminal background and drug screening checks per company requirements
