Job Summary
Prospect new business through telephone solicitation, sales calls, and outside activities while maintaining and growing existing client relationships. Meet assigned sales goals by preparing and negotiating contracts, conducting hotel tours, and participating in trade shows. Build long-term partnerships by responding promptly to inquiries, conducting regular account reviews, and maintaining accurate client data in CRM systems. Collaborate with Revenue Management to maximize occupancy, partner with operational departments for group business execution, and submit weekly activity reports. Forecast business accurately and complete required training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hotel sales experience
- Hilton experience
- Knowledge of Delphi, OnQ, or similar hotel sales systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Equivalent hotel sales experience
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to travel locally for sales calls and networking events
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to attend evening and weekend networking events as business requires
