Job Summary
Acquire and maintain customers by attending to concerns immediately and implementing sales and marketing programs. Meet and exceed target sales and revenue goals while deciphering, preparing, and reviewing store reports. Manage inventory and cash assets, reconcile daily transactions, and maintain detailed operating and financial records. Prepare daily work and delivery schedules, assign tasks, and enforce company policy. Follow monthly marketing plans to maintain internal quality control standards and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes. This in-person role requires driving a vehicle with a satisfactory record and includes lifting up to 300 pounds. Candidates must be over 21 with two years of retail or business experience. Salary ranges from $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 21
- Effective organizational skills
- Established selling skills
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers
- Negotiate and resolve conflict
- Recognize and solve problems
- Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
- Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates
- Two years' experience with Rent-to-Own, retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales and merchandising
- Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
- Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Prolonged periods of driving and standing
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
- Must be able to drive a vehicle for work (insurance requirement)
- Maintain professional appearance
- Learn and become proficient in POS system
- A detailed background check, including driving history and drug screening
