Job Summary
Manage retail branch operations by acquiring and maintaining customers, attending to concerns immediately, and implementing sales and marketing programs. Prepare and review store reports to decipher data, meet and exceed target sales and revenue goals, and follow monthly marketing plans while maintaining internal quality control standards. Maintain detailed operating and financial transaction records, manage inventory and cash assets, and prepare daily work and delivery schedules to assign tasks and enforce company policy. Reconcile daily transactions and ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local statutes. Cross-train in all role aspects with provided training, requiring proficiency in the POS system and strong organizational and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Must be over the age of 21 to drive a vehicle for work
- Effective organizational skills
- Established selling skills
- Good communication skills
- Must be able to read, write and communicate effectively in person and over the phone with employees and customers
- Negotiate and resolve conflict
- Recognize and solve problems
- Must have proficient navigational skills with a satisfactory driving record and meet insurability requirements
- Regular and consistent attendance, including nights and weekends as business dictates
- Two years' experience with Rent-to-Own, retail or other business emphasizing customer service, account management, sales and merchandising
- Routine lifting, loading, and moving of merchandise (50-300 pounds) using a dolly
- Stooping, bending, pulling, reaching, and grabbing
- Ability to traverse multiple flights of stairs while carrying furniture, appliances, and electronics
- Prolonged periods of driving and standing
- Ability to work in various indoor and outdoor climates and weather conditions
- A detailed background check, including driving history and drug screening
