Job Summary
Sales Manager role leading and coaching Compass agents, acting as a conduit between regional leadership and agents. Responsibilities include growth planning, professional development, retaining and mentoring agents, leading office-wide meetings, sharing market intelligence, developing business planning guidance, driving agent productivity, monitoring key metrics and platform adoption, guiding agents in achieving personal sales goals, fostering a positive culture, resolving agent/contract issues, and implementing sales initiatives and policies aligned with company strategy. Requires proven leadership in real estate sales/sales management, excellent communication, strategic planning, and licensing knowledge; bachelor’s degree preferred and broker license preferred with active state licensing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Personal Sales Experience as a Realtor with 5+ years of being licensed
- Brokers license preferred, validly licensed in applicable state(s) at all times of service
- At least two years of experience as an Associate Sales Manager or 5+ years in real estate sales/sales management
- Deep understanding of local real estate contracts and laws
- Must obtain the state license requirements for any jurisdiction in which they are operating (e.g., Broker’s level)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Real estate broker license preferred
- Licensed in applicable state(s) at all times of service
- 5+ years of licensed real estate experience
- 2+ years of experience as an Associate Sales Manager or 5+ years in real estate sales/sales management
