Job Summary
Own the quote-to-release process for all assigned dealer accounts — from scope review through accurate, timely estimate delivery. Support dealers through the bid process, providing competitive pricing, submittal packages, and change order assessments. Manage and develop 1–2 on-site estimators: performance, training, and output quality. Attend and contribute to cross-functional production meetings with engineering, purchasing, and the GM to ensure project feasibility and scheduling alignment. Maintain and grow dealer relationships — proactive communication, responsiveness on active bids, and long-term account stewardship. Research code compliance, structural requirements, and special pricing conditions project by project. Produce accurate sales release packages to engineering on all closed projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum 3 years of experience in site-built construction sales or estimating
- Strong working knowledge of building solutions — product types, structural basics, and dealer/wholesale sales models
- Familiarity with commercial construction bidding and GC/dealer sales dynamics
- Experience managing or mentoring estimating staff
- Comfortable reading and interpreting project scope documents, architectural plans, and change orders
