Job Summary
Lead customer and product initiatives to drive profitable sales growth in key Connection Systems technology; generates new customer inquiries through technology shows and targeted presentations, develops sales strategies for new/underrepresented product lines, and collaborates with engineering and marketing. Drives long-range revenue plan commitments, establishes targets and roadmaps, provides Voice of Customer for market trends, promotes Lear E-Systems product portfolio, prepares analyses for business cases, and standardizes practices across the globe while building internal relationships to create customer value.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years sales experience as an account manager or technical sales engineer in the automotive industry
- Undergraduate degree preferable in technical discipline
- Ability to compile and present business cases for leadership approval
- Business acumen including negotiation skills and understanding of financial business cases
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and convey product value propositions with customers
- Able to interface globally with sales teams and customers
- Proven ability to work autonomously, manage large & varied workload, set priorities and close business
- Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions and solve problems independently
- Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
- Preferred MBA
