Job Summary
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow market share in North America for electrical actuators. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within OEMs, EPCs, distributors, and end users, leading the sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation. Manage existing channel partners and build strong customer relationships with decision-makers across engineering, procurement, and operations. Collaborate with engineering teams to provide tailored actuation solutions, prepare commercial proposals, and negotiate terms. Monitor competitor activities and participate in industry events to maintain technical credibility. Requires a proactive sales professional with 5+ years in technical B2B sales, including experience with Modbus, HART, and Foundation Fieldbus protocols. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial preferred) or related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in electrical actuators, valve automation, or industrial controls
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a competitive, technical B2B environment
- Experience working with distributors, OEMs, EPCs, and end users
- Familiarity with key communication protocols (Modbus, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, Profibus) and actuation principles
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated 'hunter' profile with the ability to work independently and travel frequently (~50%)
- Solid understanding of automation systems, valves, and process applications
- CRM proficiency (e.g., Monday, Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
