Job Summary
Associates assist customers in a retail garden/home décor environment by greeting customers, determining needs, educating on horticulture and seasonal merchandise, and helping select products. Responsibilities include merchandising and operational procedures, stock rotation, ensuring signage accuracy, cross-training across departments, operating the POS, assisting with floral and home décor displays, maintaining store cleanliness, and participating in team learning and development activities. The role requires enthusiasm for customer experience, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise.
- Good written and verbal communication skills along with exceptional customer service skills.
- Must be able to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, rain or shine.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment.
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills.
