Job Summary
Provide customers with an exceptional shopping experience in a retail Live Goods setting by building relationships and offering informed product recommendations. Greet customers, determine needs, educate on horticulture, yard/home décor and seasonal merchandise, assist with merchandising and operational procedures, manage stock and signage, operate POS and process payments, and collaborate across departments. Cross-train across multiple departments, contribute to floral decorations and home décor displays, and participate in product knowledge and development activities; maintain cleanliness and presentation of fixtures and shelves; uphold company standards and deliver strong customer service.
Required Qualifications
- Must have passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, rain or shine
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
