Job Summary

Sales Leader responsible for steering a dedicated team of account managers within Cisco’s Americas Carrier organization, driving year-over-year bookings growth and expanding share in Tier 2/3 North American service providers (telecom, cable, fiber, and managed services). Build and execute a Horizon 2 plan to convert strategy into committed pipeline, and engage with senior IT and security executives (CTOs, CIOs, CPOs, VPs of Infrastructure, CISOs) while collaborating with multiple business units, channels, and leadership. Lead cross-functional efforts to drive forecast accuracy and maintain pipeline hygiene using MEDDPICC discipline; focus on converting new opportunities and sustaining recurring revenue growth. The role requires travel around 30% and proximity to a major airport; preferred locations include Denver, CO and Austin, TX, with remote options in Missouri, Kansas, Texas, and Nebraska.

Required Qualifications

  • 6+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
  • Experience working with Service Provider customers, production networks and channel partners
  • Proven track record of building net-new revenue, not just managing existing base
  • Experience managing sales portfolios with a focus on recurring revenue, renewal rates, and territory growth
  • Proficiency in business planning and sales forecasting for senior leadership reporting
  • Experience managing complex sales cycles ranging from 3 to 24 months in length

  • Direct supervisory or people management experience
  • Proven ability to build and maintain executive-level relationships with CXOs
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving complex sales cycles
  • Strong skills in competitive analysis and translating market insights into actionable sales tactics
  • Experience in selling to Service Providers, telecom, cable, fiber and managed services providers
  • Ability to drive horizon-2 planning and convert strategy into pipeline
  • Experience with MEDDPICC discipline and forecast accuracy
