Job Summary
Establish and communicate clear expectations for the store team, holding everyone accountable for brand standards, performance metrics, and behavior. Oversee daily operational activities including opening and closing duties, merchandise flow, and cash reconciliation while supervising associates on sales, inventory, and customer service tasks. Motivate the team to meet assigned sales and productivity goals, providing coaching on product knowledge, locate fulfillment, and the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles. Build a high-performance culture by interpreting key performance indicator reports, delivering feedback for appraisals, and driving engagement through recognition. Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns, maintain consistent client communication via customer books and rewards programs, and enforce all employment policies. This role supports Management in promoting a customer-focused sales culture within the Chico's FAS retail environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate with customers
- Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Constant Walking/Standing- 67-100% of 8-hour shift
- Occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.- 1-33% of 8-hour shift
- Frequent Climbing- 34%-66% of 8-hour shift
Desired Qualifications
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
