Job Summary
Senior Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead in Visionworks leads the customer journey through the store, delivering the best possible eyewear experience. Will be trained and knowledgeable about optics, products/services, and managed vision care, and will guide patients/customers to meet eyewear needs in a simple, human, and bold way. Responsibilities include delivering daily sales goals, engaging with patients to recommend products/services, measuring customers for eyewear, maintaining product/optical knowledge through ongoing training, and operating store activities to support financial and customer experience goals. Requires 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, and licensure per state guidelines where applicable; may involve opening/closing the store in LEAD positions. Required Qualifications
- 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)
