Job Summary
Partner with the Store Manager on daily operations, including opening/closing procedures, point of sale, inventory management, and ARC merchandising standards. Assume full responsibility for store operations, personnel, and cash handling when managers are absent, while scheduling staff, coordinating meetings, and providing coaching. Monitor key performance indicators to drive sales and profitability, and support Back Room Processing to meet daily goals. Ensure high customer and donor satisfaction, maintain security of funds and inventory, and uphold safety measures per ARC policy. Supervise Work Therapy Assignments for program beneficiaries and complete assigned tasks from District Sales Management.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum of one-year previous retail experience
- Supervisory experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow store employees, customers, and donors
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis
- Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks and miscellaneous carts
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks
