Job Summary
Sales Lead supports management by promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture, driving for results, and building a high-performing store team. The role oversees basic operational activities (open/close duties, merchandise flow), supervises sales and inventory processes, ensures MAPS-driven customer experience, trains and coaches staff on product knowledge and clienteling, and helps with locating fulfillment and selling. Responsibilities include maintaining merchandise presentation and loss prevention standards, scheduling coverage, motivating the team to meet sales and productivity goals, and delivering compliant, excellent customer service across in-store and omni-channel channels. The position emphasizes leadership, communication, coaching, and a focus on delivering a cohesive, positive customer experience while supporting store leadership and adherence to employment practices.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate with customers
- Regular attendance is essential to this position in order to ensure adequate coverage to meet company objectives
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays is required
