Job Summary
Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of the store, responsible for delivering the customer journey in optical care and leading sales efforts. The role requires deep knowledge of optics, our products/services, and managed vision care; the Senior Optical Specialist guides patients through eyewear selection, ensures accurate fitting and measurements, and maintains product/optical knowledge through ongoing training. Responsibilities include delivering daily sales goals, engaging with patients to recommend suitable products, measuring patients for eyewear, and supporting store operations in LEAD positions (opening/closing). Requires at least 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification, and state license requirements as applicable. Qualifications include HS diploma or equivalent, and active license requirements per state guidelines as needed. The role emphasizes leadership, customer experience, and in-store execution to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time.
