Job Summary
Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of the store, responsible for guiding the customer through the eyewear journey, delivering excellent customer experience, meeting daily sales goals, maintaining optical product knowledge, and ensuring licensing requirements per state. The role requires 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification, HS diploma or GED, and state-licensing as applicable. Responsibilities include engaging with patients, recommending products/services for eye care needs, measuring for eyewear, ongoing training to keep eyewear Right the First Time, and, in LEAD positions, opening/closing the store and supporting store financial and customer experience goals.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)
