Job Summary
Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead leads the Customer/Patient Experience, delivering the Visionworks experience and guiding eyewear selections. The role delivers daily sales goals, engages with patients to recommend products/services that meet eye care needs, measures patients for eyewear, maintains optical knowledge through continuous training, and may perform store opening/closing in LEAD positions. Requires 12 months optical experience or ABO certification, and state-licensed optician requirements as applicable; emphasizes customer journey, product knowledge, and leadership in a retail optical environment.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)
