Job Summary
Lead role in Visionworks: drive the Customer/Patient Experience journey, guide eyewear purchases, and achieve daily sales goals. As Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead, you’ll be the face of the store with strong optical product knowledge, capable of dispensing eyewear where licensed, supervising in LEAD positions (including opening/closing), and training to ensure Right the First Time eyewear solutions. The role requires 12 months of optical experience or ABO certification, and a state-appropriate optician license where applicable. The position emphasizes customer engagement, product recommendations, measuring and fitting eyewear, and ongoing training to maintain product/optical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed)
