Job Summary
Conduct daily sales activities by engaging with patients and customers to recommend products that meet their eye care needs. Measure patients for eyewear, maintain product knowledge through continuous training, and troubleshoot eyewear requirements as necessary. Execute operational tasks including opening and closing the store to support financial and customer experience goals. Maintain state-specific optical licensing requirements and dispense eyewear where licensed. Deliver daily sales targets while ensuring a simple, human, and bold customer journey. Requires 12 months of optical industry experience or ABO certification.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or other organization) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
- HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
- Maintain Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed (Licensed
- Must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment
