Sales Lead - Nutrition & Anesthesia (Cape Town)

Sales Lead for Baxter’s Clinical Nutrition and Anesthesia portfolio responsible for managing the sales function, leading a sales team, and driving sustainable growth across existing customers while generating new business. Responsibilities include preparing and executing sales operating plans, delivering revenue and customer targets, defining and tracking KPIs, coaching the team, leading account planning with hospitals and wholesalers, managing relationships, implementing initiatives to improve sales force effectiveness, maintaining long-term partnerships, analyzing sales data for forecasting and pipeline management, and collaborating with Marketing, Sales Support, Customer Service, and Supply Chain. Requires travel around 70% within the region to engage key accounts and provide in-field coaching. Minimum Bachelor’s in Nutrition or related medical background; 5–7 years of sales experience with at least 2 years in people management; fluent English; strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills.
