Job Summary
Sales Lead position at Chico's is responsible for supporting Management in promoting a customer- and product-focused sales culture, overseeing basic store operations (opening/closing duties, merchandise flow), supervising sales associates, and delivering a high-performing team environment. Responsibilities include managing floor coverage, training and coaching staff on product knowledge and clienteling, driving sales goals, ensuring MAPS customer service standards, handling store communications, and maintaining merchandise presentation and loss prevention. The role emphasizes leadership in building an inclusive, collaborative team, coaching for KPI performance, and delivering an omni-channel customer experience. The position may be located at multiple Chico’s store sites (e.g., Park West, Peoria, AZ) with in-person remote options per location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year retail or sales management experience preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Excellent communication, verbal and written skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company
- Knowledge of administrative aspects of store operations
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Able to communicate with customers
- Regular attendance is essential; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
