Sales Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) Manager

Job Summary
Build a consistent, firm-wide culture of process excellence to eliminate revenue and margin loss caused by fragmented planning. Design best-in-class SIOP processes that standardize planning across the enterprise and enable integrated supply chain visibility. Develop policies, procedures, playbooks, and standardized tools for IDSC and BP teams at central and segment levels. Perform process audits to monitor compliance with defined planning processes and drive continuous improvement, lean, and sustainability initiatives. Establish cross-functional segment planning councils to resolve dependencies and harmonize best practices across BUs. Communicate key programs to Segment, BU, and Site leadership to drive adoption of defined processes. Interact with BU and Site planning leads to understand existing systems and gather feedback for prioritizing improvement initiatives. Play the role of SMEs to site planning leads while they execute the process, leveraging inputs to drive continuous improvement. This role is hybrid at Coherent Corp.
Required Qualifications
- BS or equivalent degree
- Minimum 9 yr. planning experience
- strong leadership capabilities
- process design and op model design experience
- Exposure to Supply Chain and SIOP process experience
- Proficient in SIOP processes and systems
- Experience with process improvement related tools (e.g., VSM, Kaizen, DMAIC/DMADV, 8D, etc.)
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork and problem-solving skills
- Work effectively with other members of the company
- Ensure adherence to company's values (ICARE) in all aspects of your position at Coherent Corp.
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications: Six-Sigma and PMP preferred
- Working knowledge of process improvement related methodologies (e.g., SDLC, CMMI, TOGAF, Agile, etc.)
