Job Summary
Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SI&OP) Demand Planner, Intermediate coordinates and aligns supply and demand for North American Operations – Poles by developing and managing robust capacity plans, forecasting product-line demand against capacity, and partnering across sales, finance, marketing, engineering, product management, sourcing and operations to resolve gaps. The role may lead special projects and strategic initiatives, supports annual operating planning, facilitates demand planning meetings, and ensures demand and capacity plans are shared with customers and supply chain partners. Requires cross-functional collaboration, what-if scenario analysis, and strong analytical skills to translate demand signals into material and capacity requirements, with up to 10% travel overnight domestically and internationally. The position emphasizes building relationships with stakeholders, facilitating trade-off discussions, and maintaining aligned demand plans across multiple sites.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or Associate’s degree with 8+ years of experience or 10+ years of relevant experience
- Valid passport
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerBI OR other relevant business analytic tools
- APICS CPIM, CFPIM, SCOR-P or CSCP certification, or successfully complete certification within 18 months of hire date
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality of work
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and demand planning
- Ability to work collaboratively in high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Sets aggressive targets, thinks globally about the entire business
- Knowledge of mathematics and high-level data analysis
- Experience with demand and capacity planning in S&OP context
- Experience with end-to-end supply chain evaluation and capacity constraints
