Job Summary

Sales Instructor responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable sales training programs and learning experiences for Vertiv sellers, distributors, and partners. Focuses on end-to-end sales and technical curriculum, including multimodal learning assets, role-based certification paths, and enablement aligned to portfolio priorities. Responsibilities include instructional design, digital learning development (e.g., Articulate Rise), and facilitation of high-impact instructor-led training (virtual and in-person), with emphasis on adult learning principles, measurable outcomes, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content remains aligned to selling motions and business goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical, Computer, or Network Engineering) or Instructional Design/Learning & Development; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 5+ years of experience designing and delivering sales and/or technical training programs; experience in data center or critical infrastructure technologies is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated expertise in adult learning principles and instructional design, translating complex technical concepts into practical, sales-ready learning experiences.
  • Experience delivering engaging virtual, hybrid, and in-person instructor-led training for technical sales, solutions engineering, and/or partner audiences.
  • Proficiency with modern learning platforms and digital authoring tools (e.g., LMS/LXP and Articulate Rise) and comfort working with multimedia content.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills; able to influence without authority across Sales, Product/Offering, and Marketing.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning work, prioritizing effectively, and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic and occasional international), as business needs require.
