Job Summary
Maintain professional communication with customers to generate accurate quotes, handle inquiries, and drive profitable sales through upselling and cross-selling. Enter orders and pricing into systems, coordinate deliveries with Operations staff, and manage inventory levels and showroom organization. Balance cash registers daily, negotiate freight rates, and utilize management software for billing and project tracking. Assist walk-in customers, respond to quote requests via multiple channels, and attend all required sales meetings and company training programs. Maintain up-to-date product expertise and manage documentation for complex projects.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years inside sales experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Telephone manner
- Ability to focus on different tasks
- Windows operating systems familiarity
- Forklift experience or training
