Job Summary
Maintain professional communication with customers before, during, and after sales while providing product knowledge and generating accurate quotes. Enter orders, pricing, and customer data into systems; respond to inquiries via phone, email, and fax; and collaborate with outside sales reps to fulfill needs. Manage stock levels, organize the showroom, coordinate deliveries, and negotiate freight rates. Operate the cash register daily and utilize management software for billing and reporting. Maintain up-to-date product expertise and manage documentation for complex projects. Attend all required sales meetings and company training programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years inside sales experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Telephone manner
- Ability to focus on different tasks
- Time management skills
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Warehouse work experience
- Forklift experience or training
- Must attend all required meetings in relation to sales
- Must attend all company required training programs
