Job Summary
Maintain professional communication with customers before, during, and after sales while providing product knowledge to generate accurate quotes and proposals. Enter orders, pricing, and customer data into systems, responding to requests via phone, email, and fax. Assist walk-in customers, handle inquiries or complaints promptly, and drive profitable sales through upselling and cross-selling. Maintain stock levels, organize the showroom, and coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries and shipping logistics. Operate the cash register daily, manage inventory movement, and negotiate freight rates. Collaborate with outside sales reps and internal teams to fulfill customer needs. Attend all required sales meetings and training programs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years inside sales experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Telephone manner
- Ability to focus on different tasks
- Time efficiency
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems
- Warehouse work experience
- Forklift experience or training
- Must attend all required meetings in relation to sales
- Must attend all company required training programs
