Job Summary
Hospice Sales Representative with proven hospice/home health sales experience drives census growth by developing and nurturing relationships with physicians, hospitals, SNFs, ALFs, and other referral sources. Responsible for growing a robust referral pipeline, conducting regular sales calls, presenting hospice services compassionately, collaborating with clinical/operations teams to ensure smooth patient transitions, tracking referral trends and outcomes, meeting monthly/quarterly targets, and representing the organization at community events and professional functions. Ideal candidates possess an established portfolio of referral sources, strong ability to meet sales targets, knowledge of Medicare hospice eligibility, and a willingness to travel locally to cultivate partnerships.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of hospice or healthcare sales experience
- Established portfolio of active referral sources in the hospice/home health space
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate, customer-first attitude
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines and hospice eligibility criteria
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally
