Job Summary
Greet customers to create a welcoming in-store experience and build relationships. Assist customers in identifying needs, educate on products, and help them choose the right selections. Support merchandising and operational procedures, maintain stock levels and product presentation, ensure signage is current, and rotate products as directed. Operate the POS to process transactions, and participate in floral decorations, home décor displays, and seasonal merchandising. Collaborate with management and team members in learning and development activities, while providing excellent customer service in a retail environment. This role requires enthusiasm for horticulture and décor, strong communication, teamwork, and the ability to work under varied indoor/outdoor conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environmental conditions, rain or shine
- Multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
