Job Summary
Provide customers with an exceptional retail experience in a garden/home décor environment. Greet customers, assess needs, educate on products, assist with merchandising and operational procedures, operate the POS, stock and rotate merchandise, ensure signage and presentation are current, and collaborate across departments. Must be enthusiastic about horticulture and home décor, possess strong communication and customer service skills, be able to work indoors/outdoors in varied conditions, and thrive in a team-oriented setting. Emphasis on delivering friendly service, merchandising across multiple departments, and contributing to learning and development activities.
Required Qualifications
- Must have good written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions, rain or shine
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or within a team environment
- Great organizational and problem-solving skills
- Passion for horticulture, yard/home décor, and seasonal merchandise
